I'm feeling a spicy chicken sandwich from chick fil a today because I know I'll be craving one on Sunday. Got to get my fix while I can

I haven't had Chick-Fil-A for over a year

Why? I try not to eat it as much, but my fiancé loves it. I try to be healthy and get a grilled chicken sandwich, but I'm saying screw it today

Today was supposed to be a work day, but between having started early with a new brew by Southern Prohibition and the Irish Italian Fest in an hour-screw it is the motto for my weekend.

Gonna vent a bit to the culinary minded:
Okay so I wake up yesterday morning think I was going to go plug some paper bad guys with some of my clients/friends. However my SO had other plans of taking my knuckleheads and their girlfriends to N'awlins. Being the good husband/father I decided I needed to participate in some family bonding time. It was the right idea but Gots Dayum it was tedious day. I mean six hours of driving to go shopping at the River Walk and to hang around the quarter only to end up eating at the freaking Hard Rock due to the dietary restraints of high school kids taste buds. In my minds eye it was the culinary equivalent of going to a strip club. Walking past great restaurants like Irene's, Luke, Peche etc...etc...etc....only to eat an over cooked burger I could have gotten at any Applebee's.....At least I was able to go get gelato at Sucre before heading home

Little dix bay is legit.
Spent 2 weeks on Virgin Gorda about 4 yard ago and went down to Little Dix Bay a few after noons. Very nice location. But then we went down a second time last summer and rented a 48 foot power cat and cruised around all the islands for 10 days. By far my best trip ever.
Oh and I know I have stated that the Mrs and I are expecting. Well she is 19 weeks now and I can reveal to yall that we are having a ......

Congratulations!
Are you going to name him Archie, Eli or Cooper?
The only gripe I have about LDB was that the property manager was in London for 7 out of the 10 days we were there. The service was not good when he was gone. No response to calls for room service and actually saw a beach waiter taking a drink out of someone's cocktail he was delivering. Once the property manager returned, the staff did an about face.
Otherwise, the property was great, and you could leave the premises and explore the island some.
My brother did a Bahamas trip on a power cat and thought it was great. I'd like to do the BVI and USVI like you did, though.

It was legit. Got the Cat in Tortola. Stayed nights moored outside of Norman Island, Coopers Island, Virgin a Gorda, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke. And a few others. So awesome. There was 8 of us. My parents, my aunt and uncle, my brother and cousin, and my wife and i. We captained our own boat so for 10 days it was just us , the boat, the ocean, and of course RUM

So yall went to New Orleans and ate at the hard rock? Hahaha sounds like something my family would do. I swear I'm the only one who enjoys real food

Trust me it wasn't what I wanted to do. My boys aren't the easiest to accommodate when it comes to seafood (falls back to when their Mom pampered them a bit too much as a single mother). I definitely wasn't going to split up in the French Quarter considering we had their 2 girlfriends with us. So the only place in the Quarter I could get us in that had food they would enjoy was the Hard Rock. Even though I am not the biggest fan I should have walked us over to Mother's. In my defense I initially thought about going to Jacques Imo's because they would have liked the chicken & waffles but couldn't get a table for 6.
