I have two yetis.. Bought the tan 45 quart off oxford re sale for 150 bucks... Worth it...then the lady friend wanted one of the limited addition pink ones so I got her the smallest one of those... Holds like 18-20 beers easily with ice.. And it was too expensive for a cooler but better than buying chocolate flowers dinner and jewelry in my opinion... Also georgia liquor prices/selection is amazig. Got another bottle of eagle rare and a bottle of double oak woodford reserve

I went in Reeds the other day for a sale and looked at the Yeti's. Holy shite who pays $300+ for a damn cooler? I mean I know it's a status thing, but are they anywhere near worth that? What do y'all suggest?

It's my favorite bourbon right now without question

Isn't Eagle Rare watered down?

I don't think so? It is a fantastic, oaky bourbon and has a great "char" flavor.

watered down by the golden nectar of Zeus maybe

Depends on if you have an actual need for them on a regular basis.

frick no. I do have a cup though that I won at dirty santa.

I mean I'd just use them for baseball games and the occasional grill out. The Coleman has done just fine so far. I'm just not sure I could justify spending that on a cooler.
Now the cup, how is it?

Don't buy one then.
I've never used it but I think DD said he had one and it works great. Said it'll keep stuff hot/cold for a really long time.

They seriously work well, for what it's worth.
A buddy of mine had one in college and kept it stocked with Miller Lite (GOAT) year round. He'd usually dump a bag or two of ice in the ice chest on Friday afternoon after class and it would be just fine for four or five days. I'm saying not even partially melted on Sunday or Monday, which is ridiculous
They are heavy as frick though. The Tundra 45 (their most popular ice chest) is 23 pounds without beer and ice in it.

My cup kept ice for 36 hours

If you drink bourbon over ice, neat, or w/ a splash, you should give scotch a try. Glenmorangie for about $30.

I've tried scotch on several occasions. Just not as big of a fan

It's pretty good.

What is the point of keeping ice cold for 36 hours
At some point you'll have to refill your drink?
