Agree. We obviously put their signing class to shame, but any state fan who bashes us for quoting Yancy, Neal, etc.. has every right to do so.

Looks like the class will end at 24, possibly 25. Sets the stage for a large 2017 class with the remaining scholarships and a lot of seniors graduating after next season.

We were at 22. Add Anderson, Brown & Mathis. Lose Luafatasaga. That's 24.(Misses on Simmons, Carter, & Kongbo).
So I guess we can sign 29 next year. Plenty of room for Juco lbs.

Look guys, It sucks that we whiffed on Defense and at positions of need, but compare this to the '13 class
That classes had very few big pieces and a bunch of pawns... this class has just as many big pieces (RN = Benito... just watch)(Tony = Deontay), but instead of pawns, we upgraded
Yeah we need more bodies, and I agree that we could do better, but we are well on our way toward sustained success at a very high level... and these guys we got here today are going to be very much an integral part of that

Simple as this, welcome to main stage.
We're going to miss every signing day.
The fact that our class wasn't dependent on signing day is a great thing.
Losing Simmons is a dagger but guys like Carter will be an every year occurrence from now on. You win some, you lose some. We lost some today but came in with an already top 5 class. The only negative is we didn't take guys who wanted to be here and then got spurned. Also, Batoon should be shown the door. Whiffing on David is inexcusable

Offense is pretty much set. Losing the defensive side hurts. But we are still pretty good I think for this season. Next class will be a very heavy defensive class. Defense won't be as impressive as the pat two seasons but they will be okay. Offense will win us games though.
And we better not hear another thing about us cheating. Because today proved we did it the right way.
