Yeah, Bo was fricking horrible this year. Accounting for 3701 total yards (Breaking Eli's record), and setting the school record for completions in a season. His arm was dead because of the missed time in the weight room this past off-season. Bo is our best option at quarterback by far. He runs the offense perfectly.
I'd like a QB who can spread the field vertically with our offense, thank you very much. Bo's arm will never be the same, and, to be honest, it was never that strong in the first place.
The completions record is overblown, every OM fan knows that.
Switchblade will beat that record by the time he's done.

This is true, but why would you not want to start the season with a two year starter in this offense? Maybe Bo's arm will never be the same, but you have to think it will be better next year with a productive off season. Bo's play wasn't the problem with our offense this season. Inconsistent O-line play and shitty red zone offense was.
Bo had his bad moments, but the good out weighed the bad by a shite ton in 2013.

Pump the breaks on Switchblade. He's never played a down of college football. I like what he brings to the table, and I think his skills fit our offense better but all this talk is premature. Bo is our best chance at quarterback right now, and probably will be next year too.

Bo is also terribly innaccurate on short to intermediate routes. He has killed a TON of screen passes this year by making it hard for our backs/receivers to catch and run. Also has a hard time throwing a spiral.
I know he brings the experience and that is unteachable and holds a lot of value, but I feel like he's the beneficiary of our offense and not the other way around.

Maybe this just seems true to you because he threw the ball so much, but it's not. A 64.8% accuracy rate isn't bad.

Switchblade has the strongest arm on the team, but when Bo has a semi-healthy arm, he can throw the long ball. I don't want to see a freshman start over a senior with two years starting experience who the offense is familiar with.

No he's not.

Exactly. Holy crap, some people are dumb.

This. Even if Switchblade has a higher ceiling and a stronger arm and blah blah blah having a senior QB coming back that has 2 years under his belt is fr more important.
I do believe DK will get a lot of meaningful playing time. But it is Bo's team.

I'm pretty good friends with the Maloney family, cousins to Ryan Buchanan and he hasn't really told anyone but thoughts of transferring have entered his head. Nothing serious, just thoughts. I mean, he is accurate, and has good mechanics, but he has to develop arm strength and some sort of leg speed

Hey, think about how bad we would have been without walllace? Pretty thankful

Yeah I guess he was awful. Just think what his stats would have looked like with an OL that could let him not run for his life half the time.
ETA: Oh and btw there has only been 1 QB that has ever played at Ole Miss, besides Bo, to have that good of passing stats. I will let you figure out who.

Probably for the best. He doesn't fit the system.

Yea why be a back up QB when he could start at some title D1 school. Better chance of going pro there then he does as a backup
