We are winning. I'll give them that. But still sloppy in a lot of areas, especially o line. Decent teams will expose us

We don't need him to vs Vandy I guess. Probably doesn't want to make a mistake. Or doesn't have a accurate arm. Probably both.

I love that we are running the ball more effectively than we have in a long time, but damn I hate to see the passing game take such a downward swing. Hard to call our corps the NWO when we have less than 100 passing yards against Vandy

It bothers me that Plumlee alone has more carries than Ealy, Phillips and Conner combined

Why? A lot of Rich Rod offenses in the past have been that way.

Some of our fans will complain about anything! The team is improving. Its OK to say the team is improving.

I dare say if Plumlee starts all season we are likely 5-1 at this point. Probably, at least. I know that's easy to say now, but it's difficult to think otherwise. Now, not to be mistaken, we wouldn't necessarily be a good 5-1, but still.

So are you just affirming what everybody is saying... 'cause I think that's what everybody is saying?

I’m not saying the team isn’t improving. Im not being negative at all. I’m saying it bothers me because he’s a true freshman qb and starting cf in baseball taking 20+ hits per game.
Do I not have a right to voice my concern about our qb taking so many hits from running the ball when we could lessen the burden and give more touches to Ealy (4 tonight) or Conner (5)?

Bringing up legitimate concerns isn’t complaining about anything pal.

Neither Plumlee or Ealy will be starting for the baseball team, but I agree that the QB action is not sustainable.

Are we improving as the year goes along or is Vanderbilt just that bad?

As I said above, we'd likely be 5-1 had Plumlee played against both Memphis and Cal, and we'd still be in the second half of the pack or lower in the SEC. But at least we'd make a bowl (see New Mexico State) at the very least. This team is slowly getting better but with all these freshmen the next couple of seasons and hopefully beyond is where the real excitement should lie.

Can we give Jerrion Ealy the ball more? I realize Scottie Phillips needs his touches. But I’d like to see Ealy more. Especially out in the open.

Also where does our RB unit rank in the SEC?

Both, Vandy's easily the worst team in the SEC

Missouri may be without their best offensive and defensive player when Ole Miss travels to Columbia this coming weekend. LB Cale Garrett is definitely out and QB Kelly Bryant should be doubtful.
