So far they have missed a strike 3 call on Fortes, Olenek was safe at first, and that ball hit the knob of the bat on Holland. This is gonna be fun

Kids in a funk. He’ll find it. You don’t drop him after him hitting .405 through 85% of the season.

That was some brilliant pitching tonight from us. If you would have told me we would hold Auburn to 0 runs while using 3 pitchers I would have laughed.

That’s the most complete game we’ve played all season I think. And doing it with Sunday starter and a freshman for all but 2 outs is impressive as hell. Hopefully Fowler will be on his game tomorrow and we continue to smash.

Part of me kinda wants to see us lose tomorrow so we can just go ahead and rest up for next week but I guess since we've made it this far might as well say frick let's go all the way and it'd give me an excuse to drive over to Hoover Sunday

We owe aTm for that semifinal 2 years ago. Had a lead in the 8th and they hit that bomb off Short.

I’m expecting a lot of runs by both teams.

Yeah I think it will take at least 6-7 runs or more to win today. We need to do what we did yesterday and tell our pitchers to just pound the strike zone and make them beat us. The park is huge so those flyballs will die in the outfield unless you murder one like Thomas Dillard did

I know that the 3 pitchers get the credit for performing, but a great job by Blanco of knowing when to pull his pitcher and who to give the ball to. As is always true in baseball, there's a bit of luck that has to go along with the decisions. But good job.

This may be one of the most WAOM base running plays I have recently seen.

Golsan had to know that no matter what happened, he can't pass the baserunner. Maybe he shared a soda with Caracci :)

Checks out

Only thing I've been negative about is Luke and his hiring. And if you don't think that hiring deserves negative feedback until he proves otherwise, you're part of the problem with Ole Miss athletics. Being satisfied with "good enough" is why we have been a laughing stock in literally every sport since the Vaught era.

But nah. Pointing that out and being tired of it is just being negative.

Please take Olenek out of the 2 hole. He refuses to take any pitches. He must think the only way he can get on base is to get a hit. Walks exist too man.

Does anyone have any information about Keenan’s injury? I’m assuming that the reason that he isn’t playing is just because Bianco is being very cautious with it.
