I'm just glad we won't use up Ethridge tonight. He's only good for one appearance per weekend. Rolison needs to get his shite together. He's been a huge disappointment this year. Thought we were gonna have another Bobby Wahl or Pomeranz this year. Hell I would have even accepted Chris Ellis.

I said it earlier this season and Ill say it now, this team just doesnt feel like a team that will get to Omaha. Something just seems off. Pitching and OF defense just isnt there imo

I really wish we had Mize on our team

If we had 9 Oleneks we’d truly be deadly.

We sure as hell didn't look like a national seed tonight or even a regular host. Better get our shite together tomorrow or we will look at getting swept.

Where’s Will Kline when you need him? Rolison looks scared. He ain’t a Friday night guy as bad as we need him to be one.
Also, put Rowe in the lineup. Dude has fricking earned it.
Happy birthday, Mike. :kazoooookonoise:

Last night was bad, but I kinda figured we’d lose this series anyway. We’re not that good away from Swayze, and this squad is shaping up to be good not great (or even great, but not elite) it seems. Hopefully I’m wrong and we beat the Cocks today and tomorrow

Really need Fiegl to go like 6+ today then have all hands on deck for tomorrow.

If Fiegl is on today I like our chances to win the series.

Good God Cockrell are you retarded? What is he doing standing on second when that flyball is caught?

I have no doubt we teach base running like any other team, but for some reason we just aren’t any good at it on a number of levels.

We just dont do the little things right. It is also why I think we get bounced out in regional play

We are getting swept this weekend.
With each game we lose , they know the chance of national seed gets worse so they’re playing tight and trying to do too much

And of course there's no need to point this out to most of us, but if we do get swept we will be a mere .500 in the conference. Maybe that won't happen.

We are just getting beaten by a better team right now. That's all there is to it. Right at this very moment, we don't look remotely like a national seed.

Our pitching and fielding has gone to poop.

Looks like we got shite Feigl today. Terrible terrible showing from our 1 and 2 guys.
Posted on 5/5/18 at 4:34 pm to HamzooReb
We are going to have to score 15 runs a game to to move through a regional.

Just a few things to get off my chest despite the fact that we are still 34-12 overall. We have certain guys that just can't hit certain pitches at all (i.e. Keenan a fast ball, Cockrell a curve ball, etc). This home plate umpire has been horribly inconsistent. That's worked both ways but unfortunately our pitchers have left too many over the heart of the plate. Our outfielders simply aren't the type that lay out and rob base hits like has been done so many times to us lately. Our outfield arms are also below average. Our pitching overall is obviously in a downturn. This could turn for the better, and I hope it does soon. As I've already said, we don't run the bases well. I worry this team peaked a month or so ago. There, I feel better.
