Yea not getting my hopes to high. I just enjoy watching these guys. They seem to want it. You’ve got to have a whole team of those and I think we’re pretty close. Team we’re fixing to play was just swept by our next team. I’ve done a little scooping on GState and we can’t look past them. Decent hitters. Catcher on the Bench watch list. In all honesty I would be ok with a split. Hopefully we sweep EI. They haven’t played a home game yet I believe so hopefully they are tired. Need as many OOC series we can get.
I’m thinking about heading to Pearl 4/24, anyone been there for a game? I’ve been meaning to go to one there but haven’t been able to fit it in.
ETA. EI did sweep Memphis while we had our problems with them. But you can also look at it as we always get everything thrown at us from Memphis. It’s almost like their World Series game. Seem to always give us a run.

Im currently in Jackson right now so ill probably make the Pearl games. They are usually pretty fun, but there are usually a little more State fans there

Appreciate it. I may bring my daughter with me or just come alone. Either way, if anyone is around, more than welcome to meet up. Should be a good game hopefully.

I’m about to head south to get to Swayze by 3. We’re playin’ 2 today baws!
And yeah, Georgia State shouldn’t be a slouch. A split would be acceptable, but a sweep going into conference play would be great

Went to all of those except ASU. That was a really rough stretch - you would think that in 4 tries one would be able to win at least one of those.

Bad decision on the bases there. Could have had our best hitter up with the bases loaded and less than two outs.

Yeah but live and learn... would rather get the hiccups out of the way with a big lead and OOC.... this needs to be polished up and smooth come conf play
