Now that we have #ThePavilion, what do we desperately need facility wise?

I would say the press box side needs serious overhaul, but it's not Tad Pad embarrassing.

We need to address women's facilities (Gillom Center) maybe before anything else. They are not up to SEC standards in some areas.

Baseball is about to get some big time renovations and additions, but our facility is still one of the best there is.

I think a Hall of Fame would be next on my agenda, put it in the plaza area of Vaught Hemingway. Have interactive videos, showcase trophies from all sports, and have cool old memorabilia on display. We need to celebrate the Ole Miss brand more than we do. We have a lot to showcase.

Need to rebuild Gillom. I don't know where you would put it though or where you would house the offices and tennis/volleyball courts while you destroy the building and rebuild.

Tennis used Gillom more than anyone really. Any match where it is below a certain degrees or the wind is at a certain MPH or someone spills water on the court they have to go inside.

VHS

We are working on it...but we need to add to the WOW factor. Doesn't have to be the biggest...but needs to have the best WOW factor to it.

Maybe not publicly accessible, but we do have a sort of sports hall of fame in the new Manning Center for recruiting purposes. Pretty legit

I say the exterior of VHS. Bringing some uniformity to it and the rest of the campus. There has to be a way to add newer columns or brick in different parts for a newer look.

This may be a ridiculous thought, but why not do a massive overhaul of the Turner Center and make it into a women's facility? Then rebuild a new fitness center over where the Whirpool plant is. You have a huge weight room, nice area for volleyball and potentially tennis, and the offices/locker rooms could be refit for 2016. Plus you are right by the other facilities, rather than down the road a ways. Thoughts?

I like the idea but the soccer office and locker rooms have to stay by the soccer field. IDK why you couldnt build a big building with women's and smaller sports along with UMAA all in the same building. Put it where the Tad Pad is now. You could have Tennis and Volleyball courts on the bottom floor. UMAA on the 2nd floor and Offices on the 3rd floor. There is probably enough room to make it a one story building with all of that if you really wanted too.

They are actually renovating and expanding Gillom. That's why volleyball will be in the Pavilion this year. Supposedly you won't be able to recognize it when it is done. They are suppose to be showing us what it will look like in a the next few weeks.

What are we doing to Swayze?

Yeah VHS looks like 4 different eras. You can almost play a what year game with each section.

We are adding a stadium club behind home plate with seating. New locker room and other space underneath. Bringing in outfield seating closer to fence.

We're currently putting the old football jumbotron where the old baseball jumbotron was and then I've also heard we're bringing the seats behind home plate down to the field.

I assume the old baseball board is going to softball? Saw something going on over there the other day.

When I win the powerball tonight I'm going to buy all the bricks, white column, and ivy plants to make that stadium look like a Southern adaptation of the Coliseum.

Both the east and west exteriors of VHS need upgrading.

Why doesn't Ole Miss have a welcome center at an entrance to campus? That is a huge need. Where do people meet up for campus tours and info on the University?
