Henry is a good guy, but man he gets fired up you know who I haven't seen I always thought it was Henry's alter but where the hell is hamzoo reb or whatever that guy's name was.

That guy was always negative man both him and Henry always slung the same s*** as soon as there was a bad play he would be like it's Charlie Weiss's fault he decided to run the ball on third and one and he should have thrown it instead God damn it.

Henry you are wrong. Golding is an elite defensive mind and excellent recruiter.

Apparently he has the approval of the money men who prop up NIL. Losing significant NIL funds would damage the program a lot more than a losing season.

The only thing that matters is wins. It doesn't matter if the players like him or the money guys like him. Can he win? We don't know yet. I hope he does well. I'm 50/50 on him but willing to give him a season to prove himself, otherwise, I agree with Henry and we need to move on to a proven HC. We can't afford to have a lot of on the job training.

I will say that I don't see this as a Matt Luke hire. Golding is far more capable and is an aggressive recruiter. But if I see one fricking "Mississippi Made" or "Blue Collar Team" slogan, I'm going to kick someone's arse.

I read in another forum that they interviewed other candidates, but the conversations were nonstarters because admin made it clear Golding had to stay.

Golding could be a Matt Luke and he could be a Marcus Freeman. You never know. Coordinator hires will tell the story.

Any idea when we’ll know what the staff for playoffs will actually look like? Can we bring in fresh staff although that wouldn’t really make sense. I’m just glad it’s over. I was always kind of embarrassed we had a frickin yoga ferry as our HC. Making Pete HC is a head scratcher but I’ll ride with him. He seems to want to be here. Plus he likes himself a cold beer! Do we think Freeze has changed Lane’s contact number to main hoe in his black book..

Yeah, it was an awful run.
