It's pretty simple... as long is Kiffin is your weird a-hole (see LSU), you can live with him, tolerate him and even somewhat find him oddly endearing. But just as soon as he becomes somebody else's weird a-hole, any good will towards him goes down the toilet. Case closed.

Moreover, being both weird and an a-hole is not usually a recipe for success. However, when you know football and don't seem to care at all what others think of you, even those you probably should care about, I suppose anything is possible.
