Wondering what you expected.

Insideradvantage I respect your opinions and input so I'll just hit it with you straight. I just can't do these curbstompings to Bama anymore. Call me a down fan, that's fair, but frick man. You're right. I knew it was going to be bad, but damn man. I just feel like Luke has gotten a loose leash because our administration is a shitshow. frick the NCAA. I guess that's what I'm most pissed about.

Not much of anything about this game today surprised me. I had long been prepared to be totally embarrassed and we were in spots mingled in with a few bright spots. We've pretty much beaten this dead horse enough... that being this will take time if it happens at all under the current leadership, and I'm not sure if enough of the fanbase has that kind of patience.
Back to the bright spots: Plumlee is a heck of runner but the passing needs works. Ealy looked pretty good again. I struggle to find much else. Maybe the touch on Tisdale's TD pass? Phillips really never got going and our secondary, man oh man, they've got no chance without a little help up front when we play a team that can pass like that.
Unfortunately, I felt like Bama was just practicing against our defense. I pictured Saban saying, "what do y'all want to work on next play or next series?" We have some guys who look so slow on defense. Sort of like defensive ends playing outside linebacker which is exactly what's going on.
I tend to think that if Plumlee had played against Memphis and Cal we win those games and we'd be 4-1 but still not be good and barely make a bowl. As things stand now, both the staff and the players will just have to focus on getting better each week. That's probably the best we can do right now. It’s tough to see a bunch of improvement in a game like that today but I suppose if you dig a little it can be found.

I hear you. I've honestly tried to give Luke a lot of time, but seeing our secondary get torched today just got to me. I know our hands are tied for various reasons. Reality is they went up against a talented offense led by a seasoned veteran offensive coordinator who knew exactly what he was doing. And we are young in several areas. Not a good combo. That said I think some of those more experienced guys in the secondary do need to find a little something extra within themselves for the remainder of the season. They're going to have to dig deep because there's still a lot of football left to play.
The irony is I said I didn't want to hear about Matt Luke being fired this weekend, yet I was the one who said it!

This game will be a waste of time as long as Luke is head coach. He obviously has not inspired pride in this group.

Honestly, who cares anymore? Obviously our fans don't. Obviously our administration doesn't.

He should have never been hired. He’s an embarrassment.
