The reasoning for choosing crown is my girlfriend and I don't really agree on whiskey. Bottom shelf she likes Evan I don't.... I'm more of George Dickle guy , mid grade she likes Jack Daniels sometimes she will even want that honey shite fricking both are nasty IMHO I like Jim or I will stick with the George. Top shelf stuff she likes crown and I like just about everything in that price range plus I can drink it straight. So.... pretty much I did it to lighten the ole ball and chain for the night.

Buffalo Trace is undoubtably the best for the price. Four Roses is the best distillery from bottom to top.

Most of the time when I'm binging I go for Jim or Evan and cut it with ginger ale. I don't want to spend a ton on a bottle that I'm just going to mix w/ something.

If you're mixing whiskey who gives a shite what you are drinking. I mean, even T.W fricking Samuels is halfway tolerable if you're mixing it and wanting to get hammered. If you drink bourbon neat, then yeah drinking Evan or whatever is gross.
