Folks need to go touch grass. Lane is the only person that knows what he's gonna do (assuming he has made up his mind). He's been consistent that he doesn't talk about these things during the season - as maddening as that can be. He's a consistent autistic dude.

I was angry during the Auburn search because we were getting our asses kicked every week while he was being a dipshit. This time, it at least seems he’s focused on coaching, so it doesn’t bother me nearly as badly.

Well Lane just posted about us hosting 2 Florida commits this weekend on his instagram story. If he ends up staying then people are going to look back at all this stuff and say “well shite it was obvious by everything he was posting”

If we lose Saturday that stadium is going to be incredibly toxic

The rumor and pretty strong one at that is that we may have an answer by next week or the day after the Egg Bowl at the latest, regardless of whether Lane wants to or not. Apparently both Florida and Ole Miss are getting tired of the charade. And this isn't me worrying about anything. I just pass along information that I hear.

People up high are getting pretty sick of the hemming and hawing from Lane.

My thoughts: You're either committed or you are not. You say that you don't discuss this during the season but your agent obviously is doing just that (which is on your behalf - so you). You haven't shut him down so you actually are "talking about this during the season."

Lane is a spoiled brat, that's for sure.

Maybe. A lot of our fanbase seems to be as well.

Of course. We are fans of an SEC team.

I don’t think demanding an answer in this situation is being spoiled. If Lane waits to announce his decision until after the playoffs, Florida or Ole Miss is going to be screwed. I think it’s reasonable for both parties to tell him shite or get off he pot

That is not going to happen. If he hasn't made a decision the weekend after the Egg Bowl, the choice is made for him.

I think it’s time for those who say they can’t even enjoy this season to admit they care more about other teams’ fans on message board preventing them from bragging and basking on a seemingly great season.

If you aren’t able to enjoy us being 9-1 with a likely playoff appearance, then it is 110% your fault. Lane is going to stay or leave regardless of how much you bitch and moan on a message board. You’re raising your blood pressure for no reason at all. Sit back. Enjoy the season. Let the cards fall where they may. We have a great AD and support staff.

ETA: not that this is specifically responding to Landmass. This is a general statement towards the relevant people.

It’s like going on a dream vacation for a week but while you’re down there you find out your parents are getting divorced when you get back home.

You can sit there and try to enjoy the vacation but you know in less than a week you’re going to be going home to deal with that. It’s a cloud hanging over everything

It’s better. But you don’t know if that they’re getting a divorce. You’re assuming the divorce is already happening and trying to figure out who you’re wanting to live while you’re parents are trying to work things out.
