Isn't showing up for me - but guessing it's mostly just shite on wall with a fair bit of hedging like almost all silly season articles are

That's exactly what I thought. And for all we know, Sexton is doing this with Florida and hasn't even presented options to Lane yet. Maybe Lane really doesn't look at terms until after the season. Lane really does seem to be locked in on this season. It's different than in 2022. It's really different. He constantly took subtle shots at us then. He hasn't done that this time. He's posting a lot of pro-Oxford/Ole Miss stuff. He didn't do that last time.
Anyway, he's human and could go, I just don't think he will.

It seems more logical but it’s more “we don’t really know”.
He just basically says that Florida has their shite together, Stricklin isn’t making the decision and if Lane does in fact stay, a massive amount of egg will be on the face of some powerful people involved at Florida. It’s essentially Kiffin or bust for them

I have to ask though. If your source is a CAA, and Sexton is doing this behind the scenes, then CAA is working on this too. So, has the information changed?

As far as what Lane is doing? No.
From what I’ve been told, “Jimmy is dutifully advocating that his client get the best rate regardless of how his client feels.” Basically same shite as Auburn… Jimmy asks for a number from the other school, leaks it, and hits up KC trying to press the issue. I don’t envy KC though, you can’t risk calling his bluff.
People don’t want to believe it, but Lane is so checked out from all this during the season.

Unfortunately every day that passes the noise is just going to get louder and louder. I mean one of the national On3 recruiting guys directly asked Lane's son in a recruiting interview about what his dad was going to do between Ole Miss and Florida
