I like the move.
Weathersby has been a stud in the post season, and it leaves us at least one starter option for the championship series if we were the get there. For instance, we could pitch Ellis tomorrow and then have Trent for Monday and then Smith for Tuesday

I'm puzzled. At yhis point we've got to play like every game is our last so idk we we aren't going with Ellis today and Trent tomorrow. Hopefully Scott will shut them down. We'll need him to right away

I would. Save Ellis for Game 1 of the Finals and use Smith for Game 2.

Trent is pitching better. I want him in the game tomorrow if we win.
Ellis is pitching right now, so it does not matter.

Well hindsight is 20/20 but we probably shouldve started Trent in game 1... Not like Ellis didnt give us a chance to win that game only giving up 1 run in 6 innings... But Chris hasnt really commanded his fastball since the aTm series last month.
He did a hell of a job for us this season though.. Locked down the Friday night job for us and didnt take an L until the SECt... Where he lost a 2-1 decision... We dont win the West and host a Regional without him... Pretty strong considering that was our team's biggest question mark back in February... Hope he makes it to the show some day.
Proud of this entire team... Virginia is really frickin good... I'd love to see Vandy beat them.

He's been hurt. He got out of a jam, which is what he's been used for. Ellis essentially got another start with a 1 run lead moving forward.
