Can't believe people take that glorified blogger seriously. I have as many connections as he has in our athletic department.
He's the only one I've seen report this and he doesn't have any sources.

A UF recruiting analyst says Hugh signed a new deal with us.
Personally I don't believe anybody on either side until something is finalized.

More people are saying he has re-signed with us or is preparing too. I think they are just ironing out a few of the smaller details including probably a hefty buyout should Freeze want to leave for another job.

Even if Florida does reach out to Freeze's agent they will never admit it because nowadays everyone is sooooo embarrassed when they get turned down by their first couple of choices. Officially, nobody gets turned down anymore.

Godfrey is a good dude and a good reporter. He didn't report Hugh took the Florida offer. All he stated was there was an offer.

Godfrey would be 100% wrong on this which does not make him a good reporter. Florida would NOT make an official offer unless they are 100% sure he would accept. What Florida has done is to float some numbers to Hugh agent. Thats why Florida has denied offer.....cause officially....one has not been made,

That doesn't necessarily mean there was no offer. Just bc there wasn't a press release about it doesn't mean there was no offer.

Go listen to the Rebel Grove Podcast. Neal said this was very real and that there was mutual interest. It wasn't just Neal saying this. Multiple peope in Oxford who are close to Freeze said he was mulling it over. Neal said he was 90% certain he would leave from what things he was told. Apparently the Arkansas lost had a lot to do it. Fan reaction or something. Sources told Neal and others close to him that changed Saturday night.

well...I got nothing like that from some of his family members, but maybe Neal is just closer to the situation than the folks I know. To say he is 90% sure he is leaving is a very strong statement. Personally, what I see is the reverse. We will see who is correct.
