He has way more of a shot reaching his potential there in a system that properly uses running backs instead of Ole Miss.

He made a horrible decision. He'll have to go there and compete with Jacques Patrick and Amir Rasul. Patrick was a borderline 4/5 star, top 40 in the country. Has barely seen the field backing up Dalvin and will be a redshirt junior next year. Rasul was a 4 star last year who got 6 touches this year, all against Charleston Southern. Plus they have 2 other 4 star running backs in this class.
If I had to bet, he will barely see the field next year. Than get run out by Dalvin Cook's little brother. Will either transfer or be a career back up. Good luck to him though. We will be fine with Wilkins and DVP. If Longo is anywhere near good, anyone should be able to run with the passing game we will have.

I've said all along I'd take 4 high 3-Star defensive guys for every Cam. Now, don't get me wrong, I sure wanted him to come to Ole Miss, but I don't wish him any ill will. Now we just have to get those defensive guys. Offense was not our problem obviously enough.

Real story here is how bad our insiders are. Makes me more scared about the investigation. If I was Akers, I still would have rather been the main guy. Only benefit about FSU is their system, but he has to break through and get on the field which will be hard with all the solid running backs they have. And will get with Dalvin's little brother coming in next year

Jacques Patrick was just as good coming out of high school. Rated highly also. Only reason no one talks about him is he committed a year after Dalvin Cook and hasn't had a chance. James Cook will be a stud coming in next year also. If Akers doesn't get on the field much next season, it'll be hard to create early separation.
