The Shea explosion is what we can blame our success on.

Yeah the Patterson commitment definitely led to some "shea blast"

We will be saying this 3 years down the road as well.

Hell this may be my game day sign in 3-4 years

Yeah Hamzoo is right. Getting anyone out of the Golden Triangle is next to impossible. Out of my high school alone, I was the 3rd person ever to go to Ole Miss. It is just not a good place to try and find Rebals.

Is Nox County traditionally hard for Ole Miss to pull from (ie Simmons)?

As for Golden Triangle have never been impressed with the overall quality of West Point Football. IMO they are like Columbus, a bunch of good/great athletes but they don't preach the fundamentals.

We signed Pat Patterson and Vince Sanders from Nox. Co. It's not the easiest place to recruit but we have some people in Macon

I'm never surprised with Georgia recruiting/development. I'm from Georgia (Nkemdiches neighborhood). Georgia is extremely picky, they only offer 5 or 4 stars. They are like an LSU or Arkansas; they have a monopoly as far as college football in the state of Georgia.

And I'm not sure whether to blame coaching or development, but with the talent they bring in, they really should compete for a natty every year (or this may also be a by product of the dismal East).

But yeah, Georgia wants a blocking TE first, then a receiving TE second. Evan is much better off in our system.

Our WR core... elite.

I went to Brookwood... here's a video of some Grayson kids jabbing Brookwood. Featuring a young RN at 4:10.

BTW Brookwood won the HS state championship in 2010 (the season before this vid)

Less Cowbell, I got a question for you as a local Georgia Rebal:

I was shocked how well Chris Conley (spelling) performed yesterday at the Combine yet it's like we never heard much about him over the past several years out of Athens. Is this kid a workout warrior or is this an indictment of UGA's coaching not being able to tailor their offense to maximize the strengths of their team?

That sounds right. I don't remember how highly touted he was out of HS. But CC was always a pretry good player. But UGA is a run first team now with their RB stable. But when they had Murray and they threw the ball around, it was pretty spread out. I think CC had some injuries in his college career too tho. Which would explain him flying under the radar.

Engram was listed as a wr receiver on 247. I wonder if UGA even viewed him as a possible te. I doubt it.

From that article on Prewitt:

I mean, even if it is true, do you blame the guy for playing cautiously if he's injured? Especially since he knew he'd likely be drafted.
