It's pretty much accepted that Knott has the higher ceiling but the lower floor. Knott has the potential to be an elite first rounder, but he also has the potential to be a four year special teams guy.
So the question is whether you want to take the risk of a guy whose athleticism could make him a first rounder, or if you want to go with a guy who has a higher floor but lower ceiling. With Alabama's depth at corner, it's a risk that we can take. Who knows how it will turn out though?
