Also, does Freeze flying all the way to Vancouver this close to signing day to put the full press on Kongbo mean anything in regards to Simmons?

I think we can get both Kongbo and Simmons.

Won't lie, I'll be pretty pissed if he doesn't even visit. Ole Miss offered him before he blew up and now that Bama's main running back might not qualify, saban shows him love for a week and Pennamon doesn't even want to visit? That just seems weird to me. I can see if we got another RB commit, but that's weird to be committed to a school for so long and then drop your official visit. Hope Neal is wrong and we keep him, but it doesn't look good.

As bad as we feel about Pennamon and/or Juarez, at least we have multiple silver linings and we are not Dawgs. These little nuggets from ED simply put things in perspective:

Maybe, but Bama getting these kids is not helping us out. Wish AJ would go to California and Pennamon would go to Houston. It's one thing to miss out on guys, but you don't want to miss out on guys that come back to beat you in the 4 years.

No shite but it happens every year. We have two of the best recruiters ever in our division to go along with Sumlin and Gus who both aren't exactly slouches themselves. This is what happens when you swim with the great whites.

Bama posters now getting confident they get Lashley; that could really suck for state. They are also saying Bama staff thinks Emmons qualifies now. That would make Pen the third highest ranked rb in this class. Doesn't sound like such a good opportunity to me.
