I have thought Tony could play there next year as preparation for the league but he is the perfect husky, so we will see

I agree with Gates, Caldwell, Polk, Curtis, Juco and Evans that's not a bad LB Corp. CB are strong and our DL just goes with out saying.

.... Yeah, you don't move Tony Connor from Husky. He was made for that position.

You know what? frick stars. I propose we go to a Billy Mays emoji rating system when evaluating recruits going forward.

You do if he's your best option.

Who would you put back there?

So what's the knock on T. Strong? He'll be a redshirt senior and at least looks the part of an ILB.

He's our best option at Husky. He's a difference maker there.

I'd have Hampton at one safety and then pick one of Linton, CJ Moore, or Deontay at the other.

Z/Red would still get snaps at Husky.

He just never got there mentally. I remember him being a breakout candidate in the Spring of 2013

I don't disagree with that but I won't be surprised if they at least experiment with it.

I think moving TC to Safety may be the best option to make the D click. Talked to Cody Prewitt not to long ago at the gym and his one observation was they were missing the communication that he used to do for the secondary. If TC is the most experienced player with the knowledge of were everyone should be then let him drop back & put Zed, the Moore's etc...at the Husky.

Husky is one of the most important positions in this defense. Tony needs to stay there. Other guys will just have to step up and be ready.

We screwed up most of CJ Johnson's senior year moving him to linebacker. One of my all time favorite rebs, but he would have had a much better year if he played end and I'm not sure we would have been much worse off having Gates start all year.

We have seen what happens when AJ Moore plays husky and it isn't pretty

His game against Florida was pitiful. It upset me because I had really high hopes for AJ. Hopefully he can turn the corner this year.
