I know it is a stretch but does anyone think that the Mad Hatter & Cam are desperate enough that they would promote Sean Patterson to WR coach now that they have a vacancy?

Good I don't feel so stupid for asking if Leslie would be that nuts...but you never know with that guy. Hell he was nuts enough that he wanted to covert LF to LB at first.

Probalby wasn't a bad idea. If you watched LF extensively, he is not the dominant #1 RB since Adrian Peterson he was billed to be. His physical skills would make him an elite LB just like he is hoped to be an elite RB.
Doesn't LSU have a 5* QB committed though? Why would they want two 5* QBs if it meant sacrificing a coaching spot?

He's a composite 4* and #1 DT QB. Idk why they would want both unless they fear that Franks goes to the MLB (real possibility) but they've been saying they were getting both all along.

LSU is just crazy. Is Franks being projected somewhere in the first few MLB rounds?
I'm all for taking top talent, I just wouldn't make a decision basedd on getting additional talent at a position only one kid can play at a time

there is a 0% chance LSU hires Shea's brother on the basis of signing Shea. I'd bet good money Tyke Tolbert is LSU's first phone call. Henry played a huge role in LSU's recruiting, so LSU can't risk offering a guy who's never been full-time.
From what I've read, Franks' MLB status is wayyy overstated amongst the recruiting sites. Some LSU fans just work that angle so we can drop Franks and make Patterson the lone QB in the class. I trust Cam Cameron in going with Franks. They both competed against each other at LSU's camp, and they were pretty much dead-even. some even said Franks looked better (not saying he is)
Also, Saban was the one who offered Fournette at linebacker, not Les. And I disagree about his "overhype". he's the real deal. I can't wait to see him in an actually balanced offense

Fournette is a freak. Saying he is all hype is about as dumb as when people said Nkemdiche was all hype because he didn't have eye-popping stats. Both are the real deal.
