Probably best for him. Seems like he'd get lost in the wash with guys we currently have. Not to sound like I didn't want him to come here, he just wasn't high on my list.

Little is the #1 prospect on my board including Shea, followed by Mique.

Tom just signed a two year contract. So players assume he's there to stay. Ed Oliver is still committed as well.

Once Strong gets fired Herman is gone to Texas. Tyrie should have thought about his commitment a bit more.

What do you mean? He has five star Demarkus Lodge, four star Stringfellow, four star Attaboy, four star Jefferson, four star Markell Pack all returning with experience. He will be competing against at worst D. Metcalf who is the highest rated four star, and potentially four star Drake Davis. It isn't some shock if he were to get loss in the shuffle.

damn after watching him play with Shea. Tyrie was a huge want for me in this recruiting cycle.

If Tom Herman actually stays there for a few years watch out. They just got a new stadium and the Houston Metro is absolutely loaded with talent year in and year out. Particularly with UT being down and how very select people actually want to deal with the whole spectrum of being an aggie.

I'm cheering hard for Strong to turn UT around. I want Herman to stay for another two years for when Les retires. I think with what's returning and an easy schedule, Les wins 11+ and can't be fired next season.

Anyways, I have returned from banland, not a fun place

as far as LSU/Ole Miss recruiting battles go...

Devin White-we feelin' good baws

Deontay Anderson-we're starting to concede that he's OM bound, but we get the last OV. Still not confident.

Drake Davis-Another guy the LSU side feels is OM bound, but they seem to think mom likes LSU a lot. He's visiting this weekend.

Willie Allen-I'm not sure if you guys have backed off, but LSU seems to think it's between us and UGA now.

Feel free to ask any questions about any other 'croots LSU and Ole Miss are after (at least give you LSU's take on things). I'm not going to pretend I'm an insider, but being stuck on the 24/7 board gave me a good read on where we are with the class.

Thanks, baw.

If the rebal rant reunion comes to fruition in New Orleans, I need to swing by and buy you guys a few drinks. I'm insanely jealous you guys got the Sugar Bowl. I can't wait to get down there for that weekend.

Are you keeping Cam? Because you aren't sniffing 11 wins w/ that guy and Less calling plays. Of course, your qb could get better. Third time's the charm right?

I can live with Cameron coming back if Tony Ball and Bradley Peveto are shown the door. Our athletic director has told Les that changes will need to be made, but I think the bbq network is too strong for him to part ways. Then you're in the awkward situation where Les is probably retiring in 2 seasons anyways, so it's not even certain LSU could land a top OC despite the fat checkbook.

Still, LSU has won a national championship with Gary Crowton, and got to another NC with our OL coach calling plays. We've done it before with much more inept OC. That's by no means an endorsement of Cam; he just sucks less

eta: I don't think anyone knows anything definitive, but it's looking like 70-30 odds Cameron will return in a scalding hot seat.

Does their offense even use a TE?

I had a semi-melt after the A&M game, calling Les Miles "ESPN's dancing little monkey" for ratings, cute one liners, and just being goofy, lovable Les...as if ESPN gives a frick about LSU's best interest and the honest trajectory of where this program has been heading the last 4 years. I just get so pissed at the nepotism involved with Les Miles hiring assistants, when we give him the biggest staffing budget. Anyways, I thought it was a reach as I still made some good points in my drunken stupor, but it's over now.

Jeff Grimes is a great recruiter, but I think he's come to terms Little won't be going to LSU. We've always considered ourselves the distant dark horse and with good reason; Grimes can work some magic. Still it's looking like LSU's going all in for Jean Delance, Willie allen, and Scott Lashley. There's a lot of smoke Delance is ours. Who the frick really knows about Allen Lashley is interesting, we'll make the cowbells sweat it out...Long story short we think Little is going to Ole Miss.

Carter-Not a chance. There's been some awkward tension, as he has some mentor that always shows up to LSU decked out in Alabama gear. He's made some tasteless moves, and I really don't think he's all that high on Raymond's list. Raymond sees him as a corner, and we already have Greedy and Saivion Smith on board, Kristian Fulton's dad cooking for other recruits, and we feel great about Trayvon Mullen. That's plenty, and we already have Kevin Tolliver and Donte on campus. If I had to guess, Alabama is really going to crank up the heat if Smart poaches some of their class. We don't even talk about him enough on the boards to give you a good idea of where he's going
