Did you say Davis looks like Tarzan plays like Jane?

He's visiting Tuscaloosa the second to last weekend in January ... Remember that you were warned.

Which guys are we in most danger of losing and which are we the most solid on?

Yep, I have watched him for three years and been good friends with some MHS boosters. As big and physically imposing as he is, he just gets caught up in the wash and you loose him but for a play or two a game.

Unlike Simmons who consistently flashes like a son of a bitch that did mega-lines of pure Columbian bugger candy off of a strippers arse.

Sounds a little like #5 on our defensive line.

People who think RK is a wash in any game have no freaking clue what they are looking at...

Dude, without a doubt the opponent has to have an eye on RK at all time. However, to say he consistently wrecked shite in every game would be sticking your head in the sand. There were games where he stood out (i.e. Bama, EB etc...) and there were games where he disappeared.

An interview with Shea.

quote:

So you'd be OK with sitting behind Chad during your first season?

Oh yea definitely, all of the best quarterbacks have that redshirt year. I mean you look at Jameis Winston, Johnny Manziel, all those guys all redshirted because they had a guy in front of them. Either way, I think it will be beneficial, whatever decision he decides to make -- if he decides to go it will be beneficial or if he stays. In my eyes, there is no negative aspect to that decision.

quote:

Have the coaches talked to you about the possibility of taking a redshirt next year?

Uh no, not really.

quote:

What do you think about fans tweetin at croots? It's gotta get annoying as hell, right?

[Laughs] It can sometimes, but you just have to admire their love for that school. They're just trying to get what's best for that school because they love it so much.

But yea, it can be a little annoying at times. You can be throwing out a regular tweet and next thing you know, you got 50 fans telling you to come to their school. I'll be like "just got done working out" and they'll be hundreds of people saying "Roll Tide" or "Go Tigers" or "Hotty Toddy". But it just depends how you take it. I just decided to have fun with it.

quote:

]How much recruiting do you do for Ole Miss when you're hanging around these other big-name targets?[/b]

Yea that's a big thing for me. I try not to bash guys or be overwhelming about the recruiting process because I know how it felt when I wasn't committed. But I throw pitches every now and then. You know, "hey we can do something special here." Any chance I get, I throw something at them.

quote:

Ok, straight up: how solid is your commitment to Ole Miss?

It's very firm. I'm very solid with my commitment. I love Coach Freeze and the coaching staff and they have a really good class coming in. I can't wait to enroll there in January.

Question about Eli johnson. He is listed as the #4 center in the country but he plays tackle In high school... How does that work? He definitely looks big enough and will be here in January so with Rod moving outside he will see a lot of work at center and guard. Anyone watched him?

I haven't because I mainly saw 5A and 6A ball this year other than Nox County. Have a couple friends who says he has plenty of strength and will do fine in the interior however he is not agile enough to move to OT (i.e. footwork) and has shorter arms. So likely he is a guard/center.

The key to center is intelligence... So I'm assuming that he has the physical capability, but his knowledge of the game and situational awareness sets him apart as a stand alone Center

solid

yeah apparantly the kid is strong as hell. Can't remember what David Johnson said his bench/squat weights were before the season but it was pretty ridiculous for a 17 year old

Y'all should watch the vines from the Mississippi / Alabama All Star practices.

Eli's tearing it up.
