Is Chris Williams still coming to Ole Miss. I believe he was a previous commit that went JUCO. He won defensive MVP honors today for Northwest in the Mississippi Bowl ( JUCO Championship Game)

Ok.....I just know we need some more D-Lineman.....specifically at DT.....Speaks, Gross, and Jones are good but we need more depth.....Also, McDowell could be the fourth person in that rotation if he gains weight.

Herbert Moore can contribute but probably needs to drop some weight.

And what about Ross Donelly? I'm guessing he was red shirted this year. Some recruiting sites had him at a 4 star.

I thought we were taking a ton of people this class. What is the actual number?

I'm shocked he isn't getting more looks. Still early and I'm sure he will hit the camp scene. He is a track guy, much faster than big bro.

I think Donnely was playing early in the season.

Did Austrian Robinson play too? I never saw him in but I thought they said they were taking the RS off of him about halfway through the season

Is McDowell ever going to contribute?

McDowell is a RS freshman. Give him time.

DT rotation next year will be..
DT: DJ, Herb, Donnely
NT: Gross, Speaks, Benito

We are fine at DT. Austrian Robinson and McDowell are also guys who can play both DE and DT. We will still need to bring in two more DT's between the end of this class and next one, but we arent in bad shape there.

Are we still feeling good about Simmons?

Feeling quite wonderful for Simmons who is also more than likely a NT.

I thought Simmons was a strong side DE? do we think he can add a little weight and be an athletic NT...like a Robert Nkemdiche/Isaac Gross love child?

Donnelly was a real big surprise in camp, so much so they thought he was going to break in the 2 deep as a true freshman. Unfortunately he got hurt in camp bad and they redshirted him.

Only if he puts on 30-50 lbs. Kid is a SDE and maybe a 3 technique DT if he bulks up. Would love to see him at SDE...think of Hardy w/o the crazy side!

He's at 270 now and our NT is a 3 tech. He is Robert.

I am speculating where he will play but even if Kiffin were on the board, he couldn't tell you exactly where he will play. Hell we had Rob for 6 months before we knew what position was best for him. Can't anticipate exactly how much weight kids will put on, but he's got a similar build to Robert in HS so I just assumed he will become Robert.

You are confusing him with Austrian

No Donnelly is the kid from Houston right? Austrian is the prep school from the NE if I am not wrong.

Any updates on Drake Davis? I would have thought he would commit by now. While I think AJ Brown does want to get away from Starkville for college, I don't think he will come here. Right now I'm just rooting for him to go out of the SEC because he will definitely be a stud. However, we need another stud receiver to go along with DK in this class so I'm hoping the coaches have not let up on Davis.
