Yeah, we had 4 turnovers. 3 on Bo: 2 picks and 1 fumble. That kept the offense from getting anything done in the middle stretch of the game.

The story this year is obviously can our defense get Lynch off the field. Trust in Freeze to put points up (hopefully better run schemes "execution" or red zone play).

Paxton had 81 yards passing last year, however this year he will torch us for 300+ it seems. Maybe he was working out with Grier during the off-season.

That game was close for some time, but that was on the offense and the 4 turnovers they had. Even with those we had 426 yards to their 104 yards of offense.

They can want us all they want, but we should quit worrying and just play the game anyway. If we lose to Memphis we should finish the season at 5-6. There is not a team left on our schedule that would not destroy Memphis. Auburn included.

We're 18-0 (4-0) when rushing for 200+ yards in the Hugh Freeze era.

2012: Central Arkansas, UTEP, Tulane, Auburn, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh
2013: Vanderbilt, Southeast Missouri State, Texas, Idaho, Troy, Georgia Tech
2014: UL-Lafayette, Presbyterian, Mississippi State
2015: Tennessee-Martin, Fresno State, New Mexico State

So, if the defense is going to play us like Florida did, we need to run some play action with some crossing routes. With the TE running the seam up the middle of the field and the slot receiver (Pack) haulin' it across the middle.

And run the opposite with the slot receiver running the post up the middle and the TE crossing underneath. There was a huge gaping hole in the middle of the field when we played Florida and we had no one in the area. Hopefully the throws to the TE against NMSU is a look of things to come.

Unfortunately our back 7 is a shell of its former self.

This is a big game for Marquis Haynes. He can really speed up Lynch's clock and help our porous secondary.

I try not to read into this statistic too much, bc its certainly skewed in mop up duty situations. But it's only crazy if it doesn't work, right?

Look at that record in the SEC, in all our conference games under Freeze we've only done it 4 times - this seriously needs improvement. We are very unbalanced and we are starting to see when teams play back on the pass and force our running game, it puts a lot of strain on us.

Batoon is over his head. We should have hired a linebackers coach and kept Wommack with the safeties.

Our secondary is not like last year, but I am not ready to call them a shell yet. Tee and Tony hurt, but we still got some playmakers that are getting their chance.

Once our offense gets a nice lead and they are relegated to passing only, I look for the secondary to step up with the defense on the pass. This is a great tune-up game for a extremely better offense next weekend. It will be solid game time for our secondary. We will get at least one INT for a TD and should have multiple INTs in the game.

I don't understand why the frick Webster can't turn around and look at the fricking ball. He gets away with PI a lot when it should be called, but he gets caught at bad times, too.

Batoon coaches the S. One of those guys leads the conference in INTs. Wommack coaches the LBs. It isn't coaching at LB, its no talent there. We've lost EVERY battle in recruiting at LB.

I know the coaching alignment

Wommack coached the safeties last year and moved to linebackers and Batoon was promoted to safeties.
