Fudge!!!!!! That blows....guess Wommack needs to really coach up the secondary. Where it hurts the most is against power-I teams and teams that use the shite out of their TEs (ie. LSU & Arky)

For those interested in the Saunders deal. Some things from Yancy's interview on RSR, I found interesting, keep in mind who the source is.
1. Saunders was Yancy's neighbor for 7 years and is a personal friend who stays in touch weekly.
2. There is not a single player on OM team currently that took the ACT at that center, but multiple current state players have.
3. Saunders was always more concerned about his testing center getting kids with mental hardships into school than an allegiance to any one school. He helped kids get admitted kids into just about every school in the SEC. His son was a walk on QB at State to prove there was not some affinity for OM.
4. Jerrell Powe had his scores investigated for two years. His tests were run through with a fine tooth comb and nothing was found. He is not apart of this.
5. We held out scholarships on a self imposed penalty for things that happened with the Nutt administration. This is what that was about.
6. The NCAA has known about this since December 2013. This is not anything new or anything that came out because of the Tunsil situation.
7. The NCAA never sent OM a letter of inquiry about the 2013 class or Laremy Tunsil. They investigated allegations, but it was never a formal investigation. They have finished all investigation into Laremy and the 2013 class. This was said by Freeze.

Very Yancy-ish thing to say

This does ease our concerns if Yancy is being truthful. ED and GenesPage is pretty lit up with all this stuff right now, so it would be great for it to come back on them. Amazingly SPS is not.
Oh well, until more solid info comes along, this is their "It's Coming". Ole Miss is going to burn - TV ban, bowl ban, loss of schollies, LOIC, death penalty, etc. Here is comes.

I'm not that worried about it, especially after you look a the time frames involved. With a completely different administration and coaching staff on top of that.
And the fact that OM has apparently been pretty proactively involved in everything at ULL helps. Regulators like it when programs/companies/etc are proactive instead of reactive.
Plus, Pete Boone of all people put his foot down on Saunders. May be the best move Boone ever did

So it sounds like Tony Conner might be out for the season.

I thought that was old news?

I thought it was 4-6 weeks from the Bama game. Which meant worse case in time for LSU.

Ok well let me phrase it this way. I heard close to a week ago that it was gonna be the entire season. And I haven't been on here much this week. So I just figured it had already gotten out that it was looking like the entire season. Didn't realize it had not hit here yet.
Sorry for the smart arse remark in my former post
but yes that does suck

Ha.
Ha.
Ha.
The NCAA has been camped out waiting for shite from the 2013 recruiting class to arise. It has been salivating. It isn't now suddenly going to go away.

I just saw the line vs Memphis (+10.5) and the O/U at 70. I hope Vegas knows something I don't. I expect this to be a pretty close game with less scoring then people may think.

He's a junior. He's been once projected into the first round of the draft. I don't know the extent of his injury, but I'm sure he'll go no later than the 3rd round. You think he'll be back next year? Also, he could get a medical redshirt, right? He only played three games.

No worries.
The silver lining is the way Freeze spoke about Conner made it sound like there was a good chance he will be back next year to unleash his mayhem on our enemies.

Boy, I tell ya, it seems like are are some snakebitten MFs. I guess everybody loses key players along the way, in fact, I know they do, but sure seems like we loose our best more than most. Think about it, Treadwell, bad break, Tunsil, break and all the other, now Conner gonna play three games and sit the rest. That's three of our four best players. That fourth from the 2013 class who has stayed healthy and I'm not gonna call his name out of superstition because we really, really need him anchoring down that front at all times.

He actually missed a couple games in 2013 with a hammy.

We gotta get depth. Next man up. Can't rely on these guys to play all game. But the good news is we are building something special here. The feeling is palpable.
