No flame here guys, and I know the kid has been to Ole Miss a couple times and said good things about his visits, but he is going to be really hard to get from State.

Granted, anything can happen when it comes to recruiting, but that one would be huge.

Neeeeeeed.

He needs to look at our MLB depth and realize he could start immediately.

The man reason I want Fletch is so I can point and laugh at all the people that claim we only got Robert bc of Denzel.

The fact he would be playing AGAINST his brother is what's so hard to overcome in his recruitment... But I'm with you I'd be relatively shocked if we get him

How are the two situations related?

Fletch has a brother at State just like Robert had a brother here.

Oh, I gotcha. I thought Denzel was pretty influential on getting Robert to Ole Miss. That's not really a negative, I'm not sure why people look at it that way.

It's pretty much the same deal with Fletcher. Nelson wasn't quite as talented as his brother, but has turned into a nice surprise to have him on the field, and I can only assume it will help in his recruitment.

The only real difference being that he is from Mississippi which gives Ole Miss a much better shot with him.

What makes you so confident on Fletcher Adams? Just curious

But can't recruit non-diamonds. Adams passed diamond recruit status when he was 8.

I didn't say I was confident I said I felt good about him. As in I feel good about his recruitment not that he comes here.

Select uncommitted players we've offered in Alabama and Louisiana. Do we have a legitimate shot with any of these kids?
Maurice Smitherman - 3-star - .8893 composite - #25 CB - Adamsville, AL (top six with offers along with Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, and Wisconsin; likes Alabama, Ohio State, and Vanderbilt doesn't have offers from them)

Mario Osborne - unranked - unranked - unranked DE - Daphne AL (3-star on Scout also with a Georgia offer)

Bradrick Shaw - 4-star - .8908 composite - #25 RB - Hoover, AL (Mississippi State and Vanderbilt battle? We're in the next group out along with Alabama and South Carolina)

Joe Anderson - 4-star - .9071 composite - #14 weakside DE - Reserve, LA (top group along with Florida but everyone seems to be waiting for an LSU offer)

Hunter Dale - 3-star - .8751 composite - #29 S - River Ridge, LA (top five along with Arizona State, Miami, Tennessee, and UCLA)

Michael Chigbu - 3-star - .8747 composite - #52 WR - New Orleans, LA (top three along with Georgia and Texas A&M)

Garrett Thomas - 3-star - .8727 composite - #24 OG - Many, LA (we have a decent shot but he seems to be favoring Alabama and LSU and waiting on offers from them)

Stanley Morgan - 3-star - .8787 composite - #50 WR - New Orleans, LA (one of about ten major programs with offers but no offer from LSU as of yet)

Kirk Meritt - 3-star - .8852 composite - #11 all-purpose RB - Destrehan, LA (second group behind the first group of Alabama, LSU, TCU, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech)

Dion Ray - 3-star - .8778 composite - #14 dual-threat QB - Harvey, LA (one of a few BCS offers but we do trail Duke; Arizona State and Mississippi State are in the next group of BCS offers along with us)

Isn't this the kid that D'Vinner brought to State a while back that stirred up all the trouble with him being back on campus?
