It'll be Givens or someone from 2016.

I blame Hugh Freeze. Win that fricking Egg Bowl and these tards heads are about half their size right now.

He's not to blame for someone clicking on that site. They're reactionary for a reason; to troll OM fans.

Have you not noticed around here as well? They are unusually insufferable, even though half of them post here and on ED. Between winning that Egg Bowl and having a better stadium than us they are quite the uber confident bunch. Nothing could possibly go wrong for them this year.....which come to think of, is not a bad place to be. It will make the stumble more enjoyable.

Exactly. The others are being insufferable tongue in cheek because of the rant.

Not to be a downer to MSU fans, but I talked to Brandon DL Fletcher Adams today and he said Ole Miss was still his top school.
Talty still trolling from beyond the grave

I miss Talty. He was my favorite.

According to YP, a "source" says Leo Lewis opening his recruitment back up has nothing to do with MSU.
Why does this guy still get paid?

Because old people will eat that shite up.
We are getting our butts handed to us in-state this year. Goddamn it Bo.

If we win the Egg Bowl and have a good year I could see a few recruits decommitting from State

It they did it would because y'all had the better year. I think you are putting to much of a recruiting advantage on winning the egg bowl. The fact is, is that going into that game these players have been committed for just under a year. Putting yourself in there shoes, it would be weird to switch with two months to go after being committed for 6-8 sometimes many more months. What's the update on Fletcher?

That and the egg bowl alone doesn't really influence instate kids in the current class but rather future classes, albeit still minimal imo.

I had a debate with a msu friend of mine. He thinks the Egg Bowl means a lot for recruiting. I think it has very little to do with it. This is just a MSU year. It happens. We are taking less this year and a lot of the stars either come from traditional MSU strongholds or are just guys that it doesn't really make sense to fight over. Malik Dear for instance is a great player. But we probably got 5 guys that are 5'10" 190lbs. Lol Not to mention Eric Swinney committed.
Shaping up to be a great class for MSU. I love it that both programs seem to be doing well. Hopefully the Egg Bowl has national significance.

Yeah MSU will have a great class this year, but we should have a better one than them next year. Just goes in cycles

This Mississippi State class is going to be good... I don't think the Egg Bowl matters too much in recruiting but it does make a difference... Had OM lost in 2012 and not gone bowling we probably wouldn't have closed as strong as we did.. Had MSU lost in Starkville last year and finished 5-7 they probably wouldn't be landing so many high quality players like they are now either.
