It's not that I'm not high on them, for instance I think Dupre has the potential to be AJ Green good. I'm just relaying the perception of JC athletes. Personally I like Kenny young & Dupre. But I know our staff scouting them believes McGraw & Alexander aren't SEC caliber players. But if you see the "SEC Caliber" players they scouted and offered at DB that are on the team now, it's safe to say Alexader and McGraw are actually really really good.

Y'all are loaded with 5* CB's. It makes perfect sense why y'all don't take a 5'9 CB. Doesn't mean that 5'9 CB won't be all sec, just a safer bet with a 6'1 5*

Talked to Clifton Garrett last night... We closed the gap on LSU for sure... He was out on the square with Denzel... Tennessee is on the outside looking in... He's hearing more from Bama lately but he knows they're set at LB... If we can get him here for our big recruiting weekend in January we can get him on board.. He said he was having a blast.

Yeah I see your point, but the way our staff does it is tey scout everyone, and list the caliber of player they are and their potential (just like every staff I'm sure) and they didn't think eithe were SEC good and they've seen them a bunch.

But I see your point, I was just relaying the info I know of on those Louisiana prospects. It's just difficult to know with John Curtis guys, they're prodominately bigger, faster, and stronge than they guys they play.

It's Clifton and Denzel.. I cut me and my friend out of it.

Dude does not look 18.. More like a third year NFL veteran.

Breeland speaks is announcing tomorrow and he is as close to a lock as anyone

And Clifton's highlights are insane

quote:

@RayColemanTV: Per head coach Daryl Jones of Callaway, Chargers senior defensive end Breeland Speaks will make a verbal commitment tomorrow at noon.

This really has nothing to do with this year's class, but I don't know where else to post it and it doesn't warrant its own thread.

If you guys remember the kid out of Grenada we signed last year, Trey Bledsoe, I was back home this weekend for a wedding and talked to one of his high school coaches who still talks to him. Apparently the kid is up to something like 220 lbs since he got on campus. That's somewhere around 30 lbs of good weight since he got there.

Paul Jackson is a beast.

He said the coaches are telling Bledsoe he'll play WR. He'll probably be a Logan-type possession receiver.

So at this point, who would you guys rather have if you had to choose between Garrett and Morgan?

Garrett and there's no ifs, ands or buts about it.

Morgan is coming ... If they both came along with Hampton , Speaks and any combination of Watkins, Webster, Alexander and Adams and you can start talking about a top 8 ranked class.
