I read somewhere yesterday that Q would be getting a redshirt but look for him to go back to the offensive side of the ball next year.

As for Rawlings, I know we can't offer and accept everyone but it sucks. He's an Ole Miss fan and wants an offer bad but will never get it. He'll go to state and work his butt off and end up sticking it to us for 4 years

That being said though, I'm happy with our OL recruits and wouldn't trade any of them for him at this time

You read that from Yancy who is just speculating. There is no doubt though that we will have less than 12 scholarship CB's next year. We will find our best and move the others. If Dereck just can't play CB he will move. If Mireless isn't one of our top 4 CBs, he will move. If Hilton is no long one of the top 4, he will move back to Husky. We do end up losing 3 slot recievers in Neat, Ja'mes, and Holder. If Mireless is better than Collins Moore, Pack, or perhaps Kailo and isn't one of the top 4 CB's, Id expect him to move too.

Same deal with JT Gray. He came bAck to the sip to come to OM, and while he is very good, he's behind Adams, Hampton, Walker, and Glass on our board, which will only take 3 safeties.

This trend will continue as we continue to recruit at national elite level. It sucks but the big boys go through it and we have to if we want to be one of them.

You're right. It was yancy speculating. Sorry. I'd rather have him at slot though personally. He's gotta be better than korvic damn neat.

And yeah I know. I'm okay with It if it means we're becoming a big boy

I just don't want state to get anybody worth a damn. Especially guys who are good that want to be at OM

If our coaches cared about State getting them, State wouldn't get them.

Freeze seemed pleased with him in today's Rivals interview.

Apparently he'll be on the travel team.

Also, BB's shoulder is still nagging him and Switchblade has been taking the majority of the snaps with the 2's.

We'll see what happens.

We won't unless he's too good to keep off the field and if that's the case, then great. MSU is proof RS everyone isn't always the best strategy

What are you guys hearing on Jesse Jackson?

He tweeted today that he made up his decision after talking to his parents and coaches and he will announce October 7th.

I have seen Yancy say yall are only going after one more WR and thats Pack. Is there any Jesse Jackson chatter on the OM boards?

Pack's our #1 target. Not sure if we're still pursuing Jackson as WR but I think I remember something being mentioned about him at safety?

If Jackson has set an announcement date that is definitely good news for MSU

Yeah we dont have room for JJ. So I agree, if he's made an announcement date then that is good news for MSU that he isnt going to wait out our slow play
