I wouldn't be surprised if Gates , Judd, Knight and Putman didnt end up at OM... There will be more spots available... Not saying I've heard anything... It's just every team loses people in December and January.. Those guys seem like ones that could end up elsewhere.

I just picture a really high 17 year old because, well that's usually the reality. And I love every post.

I'm with you. I think that guy will end up being pretty good..

I'm also pretty sure we'll hold on to Putnam. I dont have any inside knowledge there, just think we will..

Judd- I dunno about.. I'm a firm believer in 'drop a RB and take another OL or DL' though. SEC games are won in the trenches and you can never have enough. As for running back, Hell give me the ball behind Bama's OL last year and I can gain 3-4 yards a play. Obviously i'm no yeldon or richardson but almost anyone can be serviceable behind a dominant OL.

I agree. Unless Judd is the real deal or there are some position changes with our current RBs I don't see the need to bring in another JR RB when Mathers and Walton will be JRs

I'd love to take another HS OT in addition to a JUCO OT

Sup dude.. So Deondre Clark is setting up an OV to Ole Miss for an SEC weekend (Please God let it be the LSU weekend so he can sit next to CG3 in VHS and watch our Dline murder Mett)... I dont get how that's possible seeing as you said he and our coaching staff had parted ways... I guess someone has been telling the LSU trainers what they wanted to hear instead of the cold, hard truth.

1) I never said they parted ways
2) wrong memphis

Jacory Washington said he is goin to take an official at ole miss. He would be a fantastic pull. LINK

ETA: he is an LSU commit..

If we take deondre Clark, jacory Washington, and garald McDowell from them their fan base would erupt.

jacory isn't going anywhere, he's rock solid to lsu
- normal lsu fan

FACTS:
jacory has been a big time recruiter for lsu and he really loves lsu and has gotten close with a lot of the Guys. That being said, if reports came out this weekend of him starting to entertain ole miss, I wouldn't be surprised...

and CG3 after we beat that arse in O-town

CG3 is lsu. like I've said forever, A LOT would have to happen for him to not sign with lsu. ole miss is the only school that has even a slight chance.

LSU/OM battle with lsu holding a very gaping lead

jacory was open with us when he committed he was taking visits and we've always been ok with letting commits visit. he committed early in the process but I really don't think he leaves. he even said there's nothing to worry about (from lsu perspective) about him visiting ole miss. but I've always been open about how highly I think of the ole miss staff recruiting wise.

I dont want to let Gates go... But him being injured and not making the rounds on the camp circuit is the main reason he's still committted to us... We could easily lose him to another SEC school this winter.

The reason I put Judd on there is he's hurt and the Robinson kid is running wild for Georgia Military.. That coupled with the fact that we redshirted Wilkins makes me feel like he isnt really that important.. Putnam just suffered his 2nd ACL tear if I'm not mistaken.. I'm all for kids making a Shacklefordesque comeback but at the same time, the Univ of Memphis needs OL too... Not trying to be harsh, it's just we are recruiting at a level never beforeseen at OM in our lifetime (duh)... If our staff feels they can go flip a 4 star OT from another SEC school then go get it done... Hopefully Tyler will make full recovery and be ready to go as a RS freshman in 2015.
