Yeah that is a good point. I would not count on the egg bowl being a deciding factor though. OM had great inclass after state won the 2010 egg bowl and state had a great instate class after OM killed us in 08.

there is the theory that it takes 2 years for W/L to affect recruiting.

Typically I agree with that theory. But what does State have over OM other than their direction of their program? If that direction looks like it will change then OM is in good position to grab a kid who lives 15 miles away

Good point. State had the better 09 class by far but on paper they looked even. Attrition killed us.

I know it sounds very homerish with the whole why would he go to state deal, but we generally do not lose out on USP players, especially ones that are at the top of our board. I know some of you buy into the whole rumor that we have lost our footing there, which in a way is true because Pogue had such a good relationship with Nutt, but we're still very strong on Batesville and I don't see us losing their top
player to y'all unless we don't take a big step in the right direction. With the egg bowl being the last game of the season we would really have strong momentum that we have lacked since 09

How many commits is OM expecting at their camp this week? I know yall got Bobby Hill and likely Daronte Boulden today.

Bledsoe is bringing his mom today and was offered yesterday. We don't typically score a ton of commitments at camps like y'all do unless we extend offers at the camp and they commit on the spot. Peyton Barber and his mom are coming this weekend, so expect a commitment from him but Id guess sometime next week. Other than that I don't know who else would commit unless it's someone offer/commits on the spot
