Just heard Ben say that he knows our staff has Davion and the canton OL ahead of Mix. He also said they really like Mix and want him and will continue to go after him. But if anyone knows Ben, knows he hates spin and is unbiased so there you go

Bulldawgs,

Today Neal said Kailo is leaning back toward Ole Miss.

/spirivaled

No seriously though, he's going to Ole Miss.

Kailo likes track more than football and wants to run in the 2016 Olympics.

Not sure how strongly the OM track program is recruiting him, but State's track coach has been recruiting him hard.

We have a pretty strong track program. Most SEC schools do.

Is it? I don't know much about track but I do know that we've been ranked for a while now.

I think Ole Miss' track coach just resigned/retired.

Supposedly the State track coach is recruiting him better than Freeze or Mullen

Well it looks like y'all passed us in the rankings as the season went on. I don't know much about it, but I think our overall program is a little ahead and I know the facilities are nicer.(at least y'alls sucked about a year ago when I was lookin at them). I had forgotten that y'all were pretty decent too.

Every school in the SEC West has been pretty good at track as of late. The Aggies are ranked #1 as of right now.

Brian O'Neal is the new one. This guy is the real deal and Walker is pleased with his replacement. I bet Kailo will feel the same way.

"A native of nearby Pontotoc, O’Neal was the 2009 national assistant coach of the year and has helped the Gators to four national championships and three runner-up finishes over the past four years. "

He coached first under walker at ole miss, he was helping sprinters and jumpers break records left and right. Then he did the same thing at Florida.

"In his first year at Florida, O’Neal was named the 2009 USTFCCCA Men’s Indoor National Assistant Coach of the Year after guiding the Gators to NCAA runner-up finishes at the national indoor and outdoor meet. "

"In his second season at Ole Miss, O’Neal coached the No. 1 and No. 3-ranked 400-meter men in the NCAA with Brad Pride winning the SEC Championship with a mark of 45.29 and Ed Odom posting a time of 45.35.

In his first season with the Rebels, O’Neal coached Greg Saddler to an NCAA Indoor Championship in the 55 meters and coached the men’s 4x400-meter relay team to an SEC runner-up finish and a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships. His 4x400 relay team that year set a then-SEC record of 3:02.30.

O’Neal was a four-year letterman as a middle-distance runner for the Rebels. He was a member of three relay teams that finished in the top three at the SEC Championships, including the 1990 SEC runner-up 4x800-meter relay team. "

We built a brand new outdoor track and seating when we built the IPF, and have an indoor track in the IPF. I don't know anything about y'alls but I don't see how it could be much nicer.

Well I am just going by looking at your track facility. It looked like shite imo. It was also, cold, raining, and there were no people using it. I don't remember there being a track inside the IPF. Not saying it's not there. I didn't notice it. Props for that though cuz we don't have one.

Spirit poster works with Connor's cousin. His cousin is an OM fan but says he's going to Bama. We are getting fricked right now. I don't necessarly blame Freeze with what he's recruiting with, but we can't have another shitty class. A lot has changed in 6 weeks therefore a shite ton can change come Feb, but I am not comfortable in the position we are in now

Freeze has done one hell of a job so far. You've got to remember we're coming off our worst season in school history and Nutt did absolutely 0 recruiting from July until he was forced to resign.

Outside of Buchanan, Freeze is getting worked with in state recruiting.

How are you guys feeling about Shumpert? His recruitment has seemed pretty quiet lately on our front.

IMO, if I was taking only ONE of the two, I'd take Shumpert over Moore...just think he's a safer bet to stay healthy and translate to our system in the college game...
