Relf gone - QB
Ballard gone - RB
Carmon gone - LT

Lawrence gone - RT

Tobias Smith prob still injured - OG
(replaced by Justin Malone - RsFr)

Know this is late, but losing Relf is considered a plus. Losing Ballard'll hurt but we're still four deep at RB, Carmon got hurt pretty quickly and Blaine Clausell got a lot of playing time(not the same of course, but it's not like we're bringing somebody new in) and so did Addison so Damien Robinson got some time as well(again, not the same, although in the end he might be beat out by Juco Charles Siddoway). Tobias Smith is supposed to be back(although I'm not sold on him playing a whole season).

I don't know why he's bragging about this. Sure, Mullen could be installing some secret formation but honestly I'd like to at least have something open so we how the line is progressing.

Brunetti played in two games and Mackey didn't know how to run the option. Relf couldn't pass for shite but he could run the option to perfection which is why a back like Ballard can have better numbers than Bolden. Ballard wasn't overly talented, just fit your system very well just like your stable of backs do now. Dixon and Norwood were elite backs out of HS so them succeeding wasn't a surprise.

It amazed me at the combine how Ballard did. Hitting cameras aside, he really wasn't what you'd expect from a 1000 yard SEC RB. I guess he was just a hardnosed back.

I can't get past this sentence.

You lost Ralf and consider it a plus?

Anyone keeping up with the Elite 11 Finals? I love DK's energy. He seems to have that charismatic personality that draws others to him. Hopefully this translates to strong a leadership ability on and off the field.

If it's a plus, then why did he start last year? It's not like Dak Prescott, Tyler Russell, and Brett Favre's hick-arse nephew weren't in Starkville last year.

Tyler Russell,

Played a good bit, but wasn't ready. Benched Relf midway through the season. Then got hurt, and Relf came back in.

Hello all I just watched the elite 11 camp on espn last night what do you guys thing of KinCade? Looks like a good dual threat imo with no lack in confidence.

Yeah he looks to be a complete duel-threat QB with great legs and a very accurate short to mid range passing game. The only concern is his throwing power on the deep ball (IMO). Plus we should redshirt him so he'll have plenty of time to develop.

Dont bring that actual recruit talk up in here.

This thread has been taken over by State fans trying to prove to anyone that will listen that they are a force to be reckon with.
