Looks like we're taking a business like approach to taking care of business this evening.

A&M had no intention of giving Wells a chance to hit.

Is the SEC tournament kind of useless? I venture to guess that whoever wins it probably would have received a post season bid, as well as a home regional, anyway. And what has happened to SEC softball? It seems like the year before OU and Texas joined the conference, both, plus every SEC school except Vandy (which has no softball program) were in post season play. Now it looks like about half the teams struggled this year.

When you add 2 top programs thats going to dilute the overall conf in wins. The 2 new teams are giving losses to teams who would never have had them prior to expansion.
Its the same for all sports. The conf is loaded with talent and there is more parity.
For softball, winning reg season at 20-4 is a big accomplishment because if the talent we faced all year. Like Georgia is a really good ranked team and we swept them. Without playing us Georgia plays a lesser team prior to us joining. We are giving great teams losses they would not have had and that makes them look less good. They all have the same great talent just harder schedules
Its why SEC messed up going to 9 conf football games. More parity dilutes things in the national perspective with way less games than other sports

Correct. Adding Texas and OU could give you six losses in conference. Likely at least 4. Both schools have changed the metrics in the conference.

I think this is a tough out. We swept them in the regular season, but two of those games were close. Anything can happen in a one game series. Fingers crossed.

Bad 10-5 loss. Pitching is worst I’ve seen in over a decade maybe 15 years?

Pray for the players lol.
Patty Gasso talked last night about what OU’s plans are to get right before postseason play.

Jordy would have been a senior at OU this year. We don't have an ace and these pitchers flash sometimes but damn. 15 years is probably accurate.
