Whenever I see videos or pictures from Spain, I immediately think of body odor. More so than France.

What about Reasonable Blackwoman?

There is no historical record of any such person.

You really want a subject to ponder? What makes that 20 in your wallet really, actually, worth 20 dollars?

But that’s just it. My $20 will always be a $20 no interest note to the federal reserve. And its purchasing power is based on how much goods/services a seller is willing to render for it. What I don’t get is, what makes your one bitcoin worth $1 today, $2 a year from now, or $0.10 a year after, other than the fact that that’s just what people are willing to pay for it. At least with highly appreciated speculative stock, there’s the anticipation that the underlying business model will produce a lucrative revenue stream at some point, which powers the demand. Seems like with crypto, it’s merely a casino game where the chance/hope is that you’ll someday sell it for more than you paid for it. Yeah, arguably the stock market is the same, but as I said, stocks at least have an underlying business, absent a scam, of course.

This does not bode well for Reasonable Blackman.

Sorry, I didn’t realize not everyone gets hyperbole.

I’m not going to say it, but I just know everyone’s thinking “they all look alike”.

Oh shite, did I just say that out loud?

Mitch, just hang on until Kentucky gets a new governor.

Bitcoin, at least in theory, gets value from having a limited supply, being transferable without a bank, and having enough people trust it that it becomes liquid. But that is also the problem. Its value depends almost entirely on continued belief in the system. If that belief holds, so does the coin. If confidence collapses so does it. So you are correct that it holds no intrinsic value.

One of the best explanations I’ve ever read, but I’m still left thinking “there’s nothing there”, which you do sort of confirm. It’s not like investing in Exxon because you know people need gas, or General Mills because you know people gotta eat, or Union Pacific because you know all these products need to move. Even Enron produced more utility, at least in theory.

I'm not dumb enough to buy random cryptocurrency investments though... or meme stocks... or CDs that claim a 10 percent rate of return from a small firm... or etc etc..

I’m still trying to get a feel for where crypto gets its value. As far as I can tell, it was supposed to be just a privately owned/funded medium of exchange outside the eyes and ears of the government. Of course, the same can be said of “points” in a trade association — yet another pain in the arse that I was fortunately never lured into. Same can be said for timeshares and pleasure boats.

At the end of the day, crypto seems like chain letter, pyramid, or Amway/MaryKay type deal where there’s no real value to the base product/service.

We will never be great at this sport since we funnel all of our best athletes to football, basketball, baseball, hell even hockey.

Said it in another thread. Good off season conditioning sport for middle schoolers and younger, but really nothing more than a guaranteed letter jacket for fragile white boys at the high school level. And nothing more than a club sport at many universities.

Never scammed me. Voted for him three times.

You're giving that game way too much importance.

Amen.

Too bad Americans overwhelmingly lost interest in soccer after the Scottish fans went home.
Well. It looks like things haven’t changed. America’s best athletes still prefer football (the real kind), basketball, and baseball. Soccer is nothing more than a last resort for fragile white boys to get their letter jacket.

Definitely looks a lot “less white” than she normally does. Like maybe her typical public photos are “manipulated”.

His speaking voice really sounds like Armie Hammer in the vigilante movie.

Remember, “the women deserve to be believed”.
What’s so brave about riding a train with a bunch SPLC false-flaggers?
