I hope Porter can make playoffs and keep momentum he gained this off season with recruits. Fears is likely one and done but he will help put OU on the map with all the press he’ll get. I like Porter he walked in to a tough situation and now seems to have it headed in right direction. If he can go even in conference that would be great since SEC is stacked.

Same start as last year (10-0) but this team feels different. Fears is only getting better (great all around but needs to reduce turnovers). He’s likely one and done. Team just seems better constructed and game flow better too. Bedlam last year took last sec shot to win this year wire to wire and never let them get close.

Still unbeaten! Unbelieveable finish. Sooners down 3 when Fears makes a 3-pointer while getting fouled and makes the FT for a 4-pt play with 11 seconds left. Sooners win by 1.

I think so. We were down 11 twice in second half too. First time got it back to 3 then went back down again. Last years team folds.
But we have to do it in conf else it won’t matter. And there are no gimme games starting Jan. Many players contributed to the comeback too, not just fears.
But until we can win over 500% in conf its too early to be excited for playoffs. Things can and have gone bad in recent years after a great start but this team feels different.

Gritty game, teams of the past would’ve folded like a napkin. Shouldn’t have allowed UM to make it that close but I like the resiliency to stay in the fight
