I mean, from my vantage point, it seems like trickle down is a myth except under certain circumstances.
Any company or wealthy individual worth their salt will have things set up that there's nothing to trickle down.

Trickle up sure isn't.
Doesn't matter what form of economic system we use, the money always ends up in the same places with the same people. Neither party want's this to change.

The real key is monetary velocity and too much of that is tied up in secondary markets. Eliminate those (and I'm not saying that's possible) and I think we'd see a much healthier economy.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter who you vote for. At all. The popular vote doesn't elect the president, and the electors in the college vote for whomever they want. And they have. Faithless electors they're called, and they've broken from their respective populous over 150 times since the college's inception.
