Oh...I completely understand that. If I lived in Louisiana there's no way in hell I'd post my pics on here. When I first joined tRant, I didn't know to use a fake avi and I used a real pic of myself. Honest to God, within 5 minutes this dude posted a google earth pic of my house. Freaked me the hell out and I yanked that pic and started pic accounts that did not include my name!

Creeping like that isn't cool. I honestly don't know what folks get out of that, tbh.

I just like mentally attaching faces to the names of some of the regulars. That's enough for me.

It's different with women because people will stalk you. I've put my shite on here before including my job and numerous people have access to my twitter that has pics of me on it but if it were a female it's a completely different situation.

Oh man...you wanna talk about a terrifying situation? I lived in Wilmington, NC for a year and my 3rd day there, I woke up at like 2am with this huge black dude standing over my bed. He said, "I've been watching you sleep." It was very obvious he was tweeking hard from meth or crack or something like that. My adrenaline was pumping something fierce but I was afraid that if I freaked out, it would freak him out. I had no idea what his intentions were but the worst of the worst was what I was imagining at the time. So instead of freaking out (my cell phone was out of my reach, too) I started talking to him very calmly like I'd known him all my life. He ended up leaving out the same door he broke in. It scared the tee-total shite outta me. The police never caught him, but I never saw him again either and that was good enough for me. I was just glad to be alive!!

CNB's avi (minus the bag over the head) still cracks me up. Along with his infamous drunk post about "Sourrier". I think I laughed till I was literally crying when I read that shite.

It really is different & it pisses me off. I mean, Idc that most of the people I post to know what I look like or who I am, but it's the lurkers & stalkers, plus the fact I live in BR that makes it that much more of a necessity to take precautions.

Holy hell, CG, just reading that sends chills up,my arms!!! I could never have been as calm as you in that situation. No doubt I would've either screamed or fainted. Glad you kept your cool & are ok. ... And that's the thing - so many freakin crazies out there.
