Yes, minorities are more likely to be poor, but the explanation doesn't stop there. You then have to ask why that is the case.

You need a book to address all the causes, but I place a lot of the blame at the feet of failing government schools, union support of the minimum wage in the early 20th century, dilapidated housing projects, and a broken welfare system.

While this is a gross generalization, the data does support your fear/perspective. The reason relates to the social evolution of said minorities influenced by liberal progressive social engineering which has replaced work ethic with entitlement mentality.

at the same time. I already know deltaland believes women should be in the home and not in the workforce, but I get the feeling he'd also be perfectly fine with Jim Crow laws still being in effect.

i mean i know i'm christian conservative and own it. i try to allow for my personal bias in conversations and know I'm not right all the time.
