Parents and family of players. Maybe the players friends. After that?

I have paid before. I've paid to see professional soccer teams ranging from major to minor leagues in this country.

I've paid to watch the WNBA too.

But I'm different. Soccer is by far my favorite sport.

How much cussing did you do when the men's team failed to make the World Cup? The talent seems to be there but they just can't seem to put it together.

Talent was one of the many reasons we didn't qualify.

It added to the fact that made it more difficult but I'm sure you would agree we had enough talent to qualify if other areas were in better shape.

Right. I'm not saying we were Germany in terms of players... but we had enough in the tank to qualify.

We've saved them from speaking German on multiple occasions

And soon they'll be speaking Arabic.

They'd have been better off just learning to speak German.

We fricked up.

I mean this in the very nicest way... but right around 6% of France is Muslim. 89% is... well... French.

We are in far more danger of Spanish replacing English as the national language then the Frogs are of having Arabic replace French.

You don't even know. The amount of frustration I had that night is more than any other sporting loss I've ever had.

I WATCHED the ENTIRE Trinidad and Tobago game. I saw it all before it went viral. And to see that everywhere after watching that shite show absolutely and still makes my skin boil to this day.

I knew the ramifications of that loss. That affects the popularity of the sport in this country and also changes the perceptions of the game. The fact that the US couldn't qualify for that world cup is so unexcusable, that I was completely good with 0 players from that team going forward. That's just a disgrace

Man, it wasn't nearly as bad as us losing the goddamn final against Mexico.

I live here, but frick I hate Mexico's National Team. Most Latin/South American teams are everything that's wrong with the sport. Huge fricking fairy pussies who literally do anything to game the system.

It's one of the reasons I stopped watching soccer, gave it a chance because we were in the finals and decided to stop watching again, at least for our National Team.

They have filed lawsuits with US Soccer for equal pay for international competitions.

They have, and their lawyers have already begun spinning false data, claiming an overwhelming pay gap, even though the gap is not particularly large.

This is a publicity lawsuit over a matter that could literally be resolved in a single discussion at the next collective bargaining meeting.

Disagree completely

We lost out on A LOT of money and not making the WC set us back even further

But I get it since you live there

I guess it’s why I don’t have that much hatred for Clemson as I used to. Since I rarely run into their fans

Because we didn’t make it
We did not gain money for what we expected we would in that fiscal year
Therefore setback further than what we projected

US Soccer isn't hurting for money. We're one of the richest federation's in the world and are currently sitting on over $100m that it appears we have no idea what to do with. A little extra cash will have no bearing on our qualification for 2022 or how quickly the current players in the pipeline progress.
