Love when people brag about not listening to popular music makes them cool or edgy. They're just as bad as the people who only listen to someone if they're popular.

This is a great line.
Haven't heard of him either and from what I just read he sounds horrific. Will dig a litttle deeper though. And I'm not some redneck. I see tons of live music and will just say there's still some acts that play instruments and know how to put together meaningful lyrics while they're at it.

Haha- I was referring to this Lamar guy. I know who ugly kid Joe is and the image of rocking out to that while shotgunning beers with the kids cracked me up.

For these huge sporting events they should only get a band or musical act that could fill the venue WITHOUT the game. U2 in the Super Bowl as an example. An all SEC final in Atlanta should have Kenny Chesney or local artist Beyoncé

Ehhhh....is this one of these crossover political board disguised topics, that is meant for self gratification by O.P. hoping to lure a few unsuspecting "Clint Eastwoods" types? Obviously you can easily could of "Googled" who the artist is, but I suspect you're looking for something else....Maybe a safe place?

So I went and listened to Kendric.
My observations...
1. It basically lacks melody (hard to have song without melody)
2. He seems to have total disregard to rhyme when picking lyrics.
3. Since his ‘music’ should be considered ‘spoken word poetry’ at best, he is a novice poet.
4. He is a BLM mouthpiece
