LSU is pretty similar to Texas A&M in history.

I don't see it. LSU was started as a military academy before the Civil War, changed the name to LSU after the War, and merged with the A&M college after the Morrill Act. A&M was started as an A&M college after the Morrill Act.

First woman to graduate from LSU was Olivia Davis in 1905.

Really? I didn't know Vandy was an Ag school.

History: I'd say Texas A&M
Campus: N/A, Stanford is very similar to ours outside the SEC though
Academia: LSU tends to focus on Engineering, Business, & Law. Not sure who is similar in that regard
Greek: UGA & LSU reminded me of each other when I have visited. Similar looking houses & their gameday atmosphere was very similar to ours. We all knew the main reason we were there was to party.
Overall Athletic Department: Florida

Well sure they are smarter at TALKING.

We are betting at practical stuff like getting the oil from under the ground and into your car.

Hell if I know he finances it or not.

Kappa Kappa Gamma at Arkansas is the largest Greek house in the nation according to this list. Arkanas, Mizzou and Alabama are well-represented on this list: LINK

Arkansas has two more 35,000 SF sorority palaces in the architectural planning phase right now.

I'd say that one of the reasons why the SEC is so great is the variety among the different member schools. I don't really think one is too much like another.

Yes, exactly. It is what makes the SEC so unique and successful. There is something for everyone in the SEC.

Still true and never will...they just built all new dorms two years ago.

So dumb on the sororities part. If one would just build, they all would.

It does. But we both know the mad rush there would be if one sorority took the initiative and had the ability to boast of the only house on campus.
