What's up with people using "wise" and "standpoint" nowadays?

Instead of just adding an "ly." E.g. From a similar standpoint(or similarly as it should be), I feel like we're all just a bunch of fricking idiots. Effort wise(or properly regarding effort), it's really not that difficult. I think you people are just lazy mother frickers.
