Then the cop was like "well we won't arrest you tonight but you need to get your whore arse and n***** friend out of our neighborhood."
That's really, really fricked up

Was walking with a friend, two 13 year old white boys completely minding our own business at a town music festival. A large group, 20 or so black adolescents was nearby. As we passed, one of them yelled "who are you calling a nigg--" and that caused the whole mob to jump us. We were talking about Ford Mustangs.

To my knowledge, no one in my family was in the KKK but my dad took me to a cross burning when I was 6-7 years old. By the time we got arrived there was just local law enforcement and the fire department personnel at the scene.
I went to a private school basketball game in the last few years. I sat by a 70+ year old man whose daughter coached the Varsity girls During the game I told him I heard they had a good varsity boys team that year for the first time in several years. He replied, "yeah, have you seen our n-----!?"

I have no idea where to start with this. I've lived in the Delta my whole life. It's pretty bad that it's just apart of life here on both sides of things.
I know a guy who is rumored to have made his daughter transfer out of Ole Miss because they started a black QB.

I remember in 9th grade playing jr high football at the academy, we had to play a team from Jackson who had a black RB. The entire game most of the players on our defense were yelling "we're going coon hunting boys" and when they tackled him they'd yell "stay on the ground n*%*$"
It was so bad they took the guy out of the game because he was crying and couldn't play well.

A roomate I once had in the Marines asked me, "what do you do when you run into a black man with half a face?...he then answered his own question "stop laughing and reload."
Knowing we had another roomate from Baltimore that he intended to upset he poured koolaid into the bowl of a toilet and hung Popeyes from the ceiling...

I've never really had a "racist" experience that I can recall, other than the fact that a kid called me a "****" during gym class in high school. His excuse was the old "they call each other ****, why can't I? I thought it was fine."
To this day I never use the word (unless I'm angry), and I cringe when I hear other black people use it, especially around white people.
Other than that nothing has happened to me, not even at Alabama.

When I was young my dad coached my soccer team. He was the only coach that would go to "other" neighborhoods and give less fortunate kids a chance to play. Most of our team consisted of African American kids and everyone hated us. One time an opposing parent ran onto the field and punched one our players and called him a n%^%$r just for schooling his kid. My dad appropriately hit the field and knocked the dude out.
Edited to add that nobody could match our speed on the field and we won state two years straight. Would have won another tournament but it was regional and a team from Atlanta lit our arse up.

1975 LSU basketball Used to yell at opposing black players who were few and far between till them. 1,3,5,9 who's that monkey on the line? I was there for that. and some idiot held up a sign Bama was going to the NAACP tournament because they had 3 black starters
