Agribusiness never finished and don't work in a related field, life is funny.
No offense but I wasn't doing too well in Mays my freshman year so my counselors pressured me to do Agribusiness. I told them to frick off

Currently a history major. Planning on going to seminary and then on to get my PhD in something along the lines of Ancient Israel and the Hebrew Bible.
Would like to end up doing research and teaching theology/scholastic bible history so hopefully my job opportunities will be at least moderately okay once I get done

BA in Political Science. It was fun and I loved doing it, but absolutely worthless degree. The list of degrees having worked in the Army and manufacturing I wish I had done instead:
Economics
Marketing
Business
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Industrial Distribution
None of those would have been difficult. I just had no interest in them in college. What an idiot.

Currently majoring in Business Admin & German. Hopefully will lead to a nice job in the next year or so. I've enjoyed it so far, though

Religion, then went to seminary.
Sometimes I wish I did comp science and minored in religion. The humanities are far more interesting, but the STEMs are far more profitable.

Finished my CS degree at UGA last December. Immediate job placement making good money. Had a good time while there, too. So far, no regrets.

At the time I planned on running what used to be the family farm and small ranch, so it was purpose driven. Life has a way of working out even if it is sometimes circuitous in getting there.

Accounting
I like what I do for the most part. It's a lot of busy work in your first few years but it's worth it if you work your arse off.
Plus side - Great job opportunities, especially as an Ole Miss Accounting Grad
Down side - Tax season frickin blows

Biology. Plus side, great if you want to go to Medical/Dental school. Downside, not much you can do with it unless you go for the Ph.D.

Are you originally from Georgia? I'm just curious why you decided to go to UGA for computer science vs GT.
As for the original question, I was a print journalism major, history minor at USC. A few years after graduation, I took enough classes at Georgia State so as to have equal hours in history and journalism.
I'm working on a master's in instructional design, as it directly relates to my field.

Yeah It's pretty crazy also they are currently ranked at #4 in the nation in Accounting schools

That's surprising, I just figured you guys got drunk and fricked hot coeds every day.
We do. Why do you think we're ranked #4 instead of #1? We have to make some time for distractions.

Academic jobs are hard to come by. Schools churn out many more PhDs than the job market can bear, especially in the liberal arts. Hope you aren't having to borrow money to get those degrees. But, who knows, maybe you'll be the next Indiana Jones.

Chemical Engineering with a minor in Pre-Med. Starting med school next year. I would have loved to have studied biochemistry, but I wanted a solid back up plan just in case I didnt get into med school. Ch E is a great major that has opportunities all around the nation
