And yep. Turned down a 60k job in oil/gas in Texas to take a 10 dollar/hr job in the wine industry about 6 years ago.

Luckily it's all worked out and I now make much more than that. I wear many hats. Sometimes 4 pairs of shoes a workday and a couple changes of clothes because of the diversity with my job. I get to be rugged and refined. Pretty good mix that I like.

I'm not upset about the BJJ thread -- the only thing it did was confirm that sports BJJ is for pussies who don't want to learn new things, pretty much the sentiment from Eddie Cummings as well.
