I've only ever spent time playing blackjack. I've learned craps at one point when I used to frequent Vegas, but I'd need a refresher.
My favorite game at the casino is getting shitfaced and people-watching.
Has anyone here been to Hot Springs since Oaklawn went full-on casino? That should be a bigger tourist destination than it is. Unlike a lot of casino locations, Hot Springs has history, architecture, mountain biking, the lakes, amusement and water park, and the National Park.
I have no idea why anyone from DFW would go to Shreveport with what Hot Springs offers, in addition to the horses, and the other recreational activities.

What is your favorite game at the casino?
Not only is it the most fun game, you learn the life story of the players to either side of you.

Played for 17 hours straight one time in Vegas. Drank myself sober. It was awesome.

Poker, until they started televising it. Hard to play with all the donkeys now.

Play the outside. place bets on 2 of the 3 columns or groups. Pays 2 to 1. Dont get greedy with your bets, you'll come out ahead every time.

Craps. When the entire table gets hot, it’s so much fun, because it’s the table vs the casino, and people on the table are rooting for each other. I was in Vegas last year, and our table got so hot everyone was cheering, making a ton of money, and the casino had to come in and shut it down. That’s the only down side, is when the casino is losing, they have the power to shut the table down, and kick everyone off.

Blackjack, and I'm not too embarrassed to pull out my cheat card. All of the casinos don't mind you doing it. Not really a cheat card, but tells you what to do with certain hands. Hell the dealers will kinda help you. After a few hours, you get the hang of it. Some casinos have a blackjack called switchback where you are dealt two hands at a time and can switch your cards. Only drawback is dealer bust on 23 instead of 22

Blackjack or seven-card stud have enabled me to leave a casino more than once with more money than I walked in with. I cannot say the same about any other game.

Worked at a casino for 30 years . I don't gamble , if you hit on slots leave . Set a dollar figure on tables to win or lose and stick to it . I still go on occasion to eat and see my old friends .

I only play roulette successfully. I play the colors. After watching how the colors play out a few times and I think I know which color will come I will bet a few dollars on most every number for that color. I often will leave out the first and last few numbers and also a number that recently hit. I'm by no means a big spender though. I usually take around 500 to lose. However, after going to Biloxi 6 months in a row I have managed to win money every trip.

Roulette. It's easy for me. Look for tables with no green zeros for a few hours then start betting. Vegas tables are built for zeros to pop up every so often to make it appear fair.
You might run into an extreme cold table every so often but thus simple method has won me a shite tonne of money overall. You have to be willing to go deep in your bankroll though.
Patience will prevail as all the other idiots are randomly throwing huge amounts on random numbers.

Poker. Everything else the odds are against you no matter how you play.
Odds are against you in poker also if you play in a casino due to the rake.
Only way to get even odds is to play in a home game, but then you lose money on beer and snacks.

Cash games of poker are a good way to lose money in Vegas unless you really know your shite and have a big enough bank to not get pushed around.
Also, waiting for the tables is a turn off.
So I usually end up at the blackjack table even though hold em is by far my favorite.
When I lived in San Jose, they had a card house. Which is not technically a casino, because you can not bet against the house. The card house makes all it's money on the rake and all bets are between players.
They would do hold em tourneys daily and those were my favorites to do when I would go. I'd typically stay away from the cash games there as well.
I think 90% of the people there were Vietnamese.

Well around here my favorite game is checking to see how long the lines are at the nice places to eat at the casinos. Is the line long but moving at a brisk pace? Is it short but you move forward like once every century?
Other than that, maybe blowing a dollar on quarter slots.
